“Not only was the hunting spectacular, the rest of the experience was top notch as well. It is rare to experience a business that undersells and over delivers, but your operation did that in spades ... I can’t wait to bring my boys back with me someday to experience what you have to offer"

- Dan Goodenow

Bring a small group of close friends or family and enjoy the exclusivety and privacy of having 21 415 acres of unspoilt nature all to yourselves.

The hauntingly arid landscape of Fort Richmond provides a breathtaking backdrop to the African safari of your dreams. 11 different habitats are home to over 22 species of free-roaming game and nearly 200 bird species – diversity of flora and fauna that can be appreciated by the hunter and photographer alike.

The Fort Richmond guest cottage accommodates up to 4 people in comfort.

Whether you sleep in the twin beds of the North bedroom, or the cosy queen sized bed of the South bedroom, the sight of the sun rising through the glass doors will take your breath away.

Sit on the patio and greet the new day with a cup of coffee or tea, a rusk or fresh fruit from the mini kitchen - before heading off to the nearby main residence for a sumptuous home-style breakfast.

The central living area, with its cool stone floor and authentic animal skin rugs, is the perfect place for your group to gather at the end of each unforgettable day. Sink into the sofa, or sit around the long table, to share your stories of the day’s adventures.

Each bedroom boasts a bathroom en suite, with a shower (the South bedroom) or bath and shower (the North bedroom).

Accommodation for 2 more guests is situated in an annex to the
main residence
  – with private access and all the home comforts of the guest cottage.

Meals are served at the main residence, in the company of the
Wayland family – the perfect combination of formal presentation
and casual, relaxed atmosphere.

Annamarie Wayland prepares delicious traditional dishes – taking
careful account of each individual’s tastes or dietary needs. Home-baked
breads, expertly barbequed cuts of game, garden-fresh vegetables
and uniquely African accompaniments make each meal a culinary experience.
Meal times are arranged according to the activities scheduled for each day.

“Not a day goes by that I don’t think about your beautiful farm and warm hospitality. I’m working on getting my wife to come back to South Africa with me."

- C.T. Martin
